So, I was told that in World of Warcraft a Tauren could not get a Raptor, Undead Horse, or a Wolf as a mount because of how gigantic the Tauren race is. Well, I recently saw a Tauren riding a raptor and it looked sweet. The models appear to scale, so it doesn’t look goofy or anything, but does make for one huge raptor. To the right is a screenshot of the raptor, you can click the thumbnail for the full size image.

I know of a Troll named Grendelyx that has a raptor mount…
Sadly she can’t ride it, so its sitting in her bank bag right now. Poor raptor.

I’m pretty sure that a Tauren can’t get a raptor, anymore. Originally, I don’t think this restriction was enforced and a later patch began enforcing it.
It’s most likely that this guy has had his raptor for a couple years, before the patch.

in patch 2.0.3 Tauren will be able to purchase and ride the Black War raptor from the BGs

is you build up your reputation with any race, you can get the mount for that race. as long as it isnt of the oposite faction. =0

kluppe, untrue. due to their size tauren can only ride wolves kodo and raptors, as well as the black war varieties.

Tauren can ride: Kodos, Wolves, Raptors, bears and the new white hawkstriders. Tauren cannot ride: regular or Epic hawkstriders and/or Regular or Epic skeletal warhorses, this includes Battle ground mounts.
Please note: Tauren can ride Talbuks which IMO are living versions of the Epic Skeletal mount, minus the tail difference. So yeah… Go figure.
