So, a couple weeks ago on my used video game shopping spree I picked up a copy of Jak and Daxter. Well, on Sunday I decided it was time to play this game again. I remembered playing the game sometime near the PS2 launch, and really enjoying it, which is why I bought it. But man, this game is a lot better than I had remembered. First of all, it’s absolutely beautiful, which is weird for me to say 3 years after the release, especially since the PS2 is the weakling of it’s generation. Also, it is a platformer, so that means plenty of collectables, and I love collectables. Jak and Daxter just seems like an overall well thought out and implemented. I hope the rest of the series continues to impress me like this.
